Dark Salutations,

Liseat,

I am not representative of Hashan. I seek but knowledge and wisdom, whether acquired from others or bestowed unto others. While my words may be pointed, downplay them not as mere hostility, for it is Hashan's nature to challenge and question, and my own doubly so.

You have not been Hashani.

If you wish to pursue rule, will you do as all mortals wishing to lead the city are, and join us as humble citizen for at least ten years time? Will you spend a decade fighting beside us, learning amongst us, speaking with us, and building bonds?

I fear if you skip this step, enshrined in our Canon though it be required of regents rather than kings, any support you receive will be limited, and your opposition shall be harsh.

Though it is not my decision to make, even should you succeed, your reign will forever be tainted by Hashani blood, and you will not have brought order but violence.

Furthermore, you bring up the old cults that once dwelt on Hashani land as your origins.

What cultural value do you believe this would bring to Hashan, such that you mention them as the source of your legitimacy?

Conflict is the nature of all thinking mortals, and these cults were themselves felled by internal strife, so I do not believe there is anything inherently orderly about them. The strife we face today arguably remains more civil.

Finally, while you have some support in Hashan, you also have much opposition.

I do not particularly condone the violence expressed thusfar, murky the details may be, but what would you do to increase your support and quell your opposition?

Alas, though you and your supporters decry democracy, it is currently the only legal path you have toward your goal without force of arms and the destruction of Hashan's culture.
