People of Sapience and citizens of Hashan,

No doubt many of you have heard my name already, or perhaps you have heard whispers of my deeds. Let me put your doubts to rest and say: it is true, the King of Hashan has returned.

I am a child of the three sects of the Cult of Night, born from the chapter that long ago left Sapience as their city was being built. We went to explore faraway lands, to spread our teachings, and now I return to claim my rightful throne.

And what is the alternative? Chaos, anarchy, leadership with the stability of a tornado, citizens who curse the Gods in public! Democracy has failed the Court of Shadows, and it is time for a Royal Court to take charge. To enforce lawfulness and sanity, to guide Hashan to the future it deserves.

Already I have supporters on the streets, in the government, and even outside city bounds. Those of you who wish to join my cause, stay alert, hear and see. I do not wish for bloodshed, but I have already had attempts on my life.
