COMMANDS
--------
SPEAK - to see what languages you can speak.
SPEAK <language> - to switch into a certain language.
LANGUAGE - to see what language you are speaking now.

Upon your arrival in Achaea, you will have the ability to speak Achaean, the
common language, plus at least one racial language.

To see what language(s) you can speak, type SPEAK.
To speak a different language, type SPEAK <language>.
To see the language you are currently speaking, simply type LANGUAGE.

Language comes into play in tells, yells, says, and shouts. All other forms of
communication are language-independent.

Each city in Achaea also has its own special dialect usable only by citizens,
and only for the duration of their citizenship. This special dialect is granted
by the gods directly to citizens, and is withdrawn automatically by their power
when citizenship ends. This has obvious advantages for discussing city business
or coordinating with city members.

Those advantages are magnified by the fact that the necklace of comprehension (an item produced by those with the Conjuration trade skill), does not allow others to understand these special dialects.
