Orphans

While reading your post, I could not help but think to myself, "Is
killing Orphans really Evil?" After much thought, and drawing upon my
experiences dying and killing in turn, I have come to the conclussion
that the killing of orphans in Ashtan, is in fact, not 'Evil'. The
orphans were intended to fuel Necromancy, as you stated in your post,
but that in of itself does not make the act of slaying the little
children Evil. For a long time Occultists had the power of Necromancy,
which draws upon Death energy, but were they Evil? I think not,
recalling conversations with them. They are more Chaotic to the best of
my knowledge.

But you may then ask, "What does this have to do with the orphans"? It
is simple. The mere act of slaughtering the children is not inheirantly
Evil. it is the _intent_ you have when you slay the kids. I know before
I was enemied to Ashtan, I used to take orphans to their demise on a
fairly frequent basis, but I in fact, hate Evil in all forms. I did it
because I liked to see them die and watch life go out of them. It's the
same reason why I wander across the world. smiting races and
individuals, who by all rights have done nothing to me. It's not to
advance myself, as Sartanites would have you think, nor is it to rid the
world of Evil, as some Church members have told me. I slay to
participate in Death.

Most people by now must think I'm some sort of demented madman, or
someone being manipulated by Evil. I am neither of these. The matter is
that I worship Death, and thus to me, anyone's Death, whether it
beorphans, a goblin's, a pixie
or my own death, as it is most often, strengthens my belief in Thoth. So
it would seem them, that logically orphans being slain is not
'inheirantly Evil', it is the intent in which they are slaughtered

Now, most people will disagree with me here I'm sure, so I ask that
anyone wishing to respond do so in a private message to myself, as to
avoid the waste of more gold on this subject, and the space on this
board

Death is one of the few constants in life, learn from It, and grow.
