I've been following this event rather carfully, and the show has been
incredible so far. I know I am not involved in any of the events with
regard to the Darkenwood, but please entertain the question of a
disinterested, third party:

Why?

I won't pretent do know 'everything' that has been going on between you
and the Twilighters, but it seems to me that they offered you exactly
what you were always fighting for: For the laws of Oakstone to be
respected and enforced within the Darkenwood. I really think Silverstorm
agreed to grant you that, but why have you now rejected it, when
accepting it would guarantee that the forest would be protected and
respected by both groups?

The only thing I can think of is that you wish to have a lot more out of
all this than the safety of the forest. But I don't know, it all just
seems as though you all are being a bit pushy for a group who only ever
had authority over the Forests because Lady Gaia granted you such, and
now that She is gone, in reality, you have no authority over them
(Divine based, anyway).

But forgive me, I fear I've jumped to a conclusion or two. Please do let
the general populace know why you have rejected the offer. It would be
greatly appreciated.
