Of course, first of all, I apologize to all those who have to waste
their time reading useless posts like the one I am currently writing.
Feel free to skip over it, as I doubt that it will be of very much use
to most of the population of Sapience. Although, if you would like to
learn a few of the matters Darknight was referring to in his latest
post, feel free to continue to read.
I am the monk that Darknight referred to in his last post. I am a
Mojushai and a member of the fair city of Cyrene. I do not speak on
behalf of any of these bodies today. I speak solely in defense of
myself, and in spite of Darknight's actions. His portrayal of these
events was, well, amusing, yet far from the truth.
Darknight was a known citizen of Shallam at the time of this event. I
challenged his 'ally' to a duel. She happened to be a Maldaathi. Instead
in the style of any duel I had seen before, she began to attack me. Of
course, I figured the duel had begun, and I began to reply in turn.
Darknight, with his glorious and famed honor immediately joined in,
doublestabing me with delphinium. I do not have metawake, and this along
with many doubleslashes from his Maldaathi friend, I succumbed to death.
Soon after the Great Lord Sarapis granted me life anew, I was challenged
to another duel by a Maldaathi. I accepted on the conditions that
Darknight would not intervene this time. Of course, the minute the
battle began, Darknight joined in, aiding the Maldaathi in killing me.
The Maldaathi wanted to vivisect me, and could not on his own accord
after a long period of time, so Darknight aided by the use of the venoms
epteth and epseth. Yet another Maldaathi made the finishing blow.
So, Darknight... Lets see. Killing innocents, defending the sworn
enemies of Shallam to an ally of Shallam, attacking, once again, an ally
to Shallam in a duel you were not part of, and overall, being everything
Shallam is attempting NOT to be. I do believe that is a good, nay, a
great reason to kick you out of the city, and, I hope, enemy you too.
Now I believe you live you days in safe rooms, leaving shortly to rob a
newbie or two, or make an assassination on someone a fraction of your
might. Darknight, you call Shallam corrupt? Take a good look in the
mirror. Don't pretend you aren't corrupt. And finally, Lady Lorielan has
knowledge that exceeds any mortal comprehension. Don not begin to think
that She does not know all.
But, of course, you don't care what anyone replies to you.
Penned by my hand on the 12th of Chronos, in the year 309 AF.
