My dear Daystar,
If your esteemed Lord Caspian sees fit to birth a forest of His energy
abovegrounds, I for one will vehemently support the Ocean's claim to
them.
Going by your logic, the Order of Darkness ought to claim every part of
Sapience and the islands, for does not Darkness lurk in them all, in
shadows cast, and in the night? And in the day, relinquish control of it
to Lord Pentharian, for does not light also exist in every part of
Sapience?
This is not a matter of geography. It is a matter of creation. Anyone
attempting to claim the Darkenwood who is not Dark is a thief. Anyone
trying to maintain that DARKness has no claim on the DARKenwood is an
idiot.

A note to Oakstone - I have been careful in my posts at least, as has
the Archdruid of the Obsidian council, to not imply your involvement
with the recent debate. I respect Oakstone's laws, and while we have
come in conflict over the Darkenwood issue before, I was fairly
satisfied the last round that we have come to at least a tentative
understanding. I apologize if my posts have offended, that was not the
intention.

And finally, a general note. For those Druids concerned with the
maintenance of the Darkenwood, you are quite welcome to aid in its
upkeep by joining the Obsidian council as Darkenwood's residents. (I.e.
by placing your grove within it with the Archdruid's approval) . All
that is required is a recognition of the Arch Druid's authority in the
Wood and a pledge to defend it against any assault.

Finally, regarding 'veiled threats'. As Lord Twilight has made it clear
to me many times, He prefers mortals to settle mortal affairs whenever
possible. But as He has also told me, He has no tolerance when that
which is His is threatened - and the Darkenwood, within the perception
of Darkness and the Order, is undeniably His. My Father has an immense
patience. But some things do wear it thin... For those of you too young
to remember the consequences of such, I highly recommend you turn to the
histories.
(The modern ones in particular)
