Honoured Readers, I received several messages and tells after this post.
The one that made me most proud was my mentor's, Lytros Devi, accolade.
I am proud and honoured to be his pupil. The one that had me most
perplexed was from Archprelate Aldair. It went as following:
Aldair 6/30/0:41: The church does not argue that Chaos is the opposite
of anything except the opposite of creation. As stated in the histories,
Chaos is the anathema of creation. Perhaps you should read up on that to
find what Chaos actually IS. Or at least the characteristics of it, as
clearly from your post you have little idea what Chaos is in Achaea and
seem to be basing your theories on some other realm.

I herewith answer to this private message with a public rebuttal. I must
excuse to my honoured readers as for the delay between the Archprelate's
message and my public reply, but I am but a poor Novice and I have to
pay for this in rats.
To the first point that Chaos is the anathema of Creation as stated in
the histories. I read the Histories. I read the immortal words telling
the history of Sapience written by Lehrinas, Tancred Lasalle, Raeli
Olienus, Torrin Ral'Kade, Kraid Icarus, Matic Ridley (my personal
favorite, such bravery!), Severian Marcella, Retsu Nienhalt, Arisa
Ravieda, 'Lucky' Lantis DeGage, Gren Rafale and Sherman Anon. I found no
such reference. If the Archprelate could enlighten me where such is
written and by whom I will gladly read it for myself. has
I did however find several references to Chaos in The Mythos. If I may
quote ' ..., a rip in the fabric of Creation opened directly before
them. All that could be seen through the rip were swirling lights and
colours in no discernable pattern. Suddenly two sections obtained the
smallest sense of ORDER, and immediately SEPARATED themselves from their
surroundings.' [The Mythos, Chaos Rising, capitals added by me]. This
reinforces my belief in that, even in Achaea, Order can and will
spontaneously arrise from Chaos.
I do not even allow You, Honoured Archprelate, the point that Chaos is
anathema of Creation. As can clearly be read in [The Mythos, Order from
Entropy] is are the REALMS of Creation and Creation that are anathema to
each other. In the same text, in the last paragraph on that page You can
read that Ayar, creator of the Gods to whom we all direct our prayers,
creator of both realms, dispersed Entropy and Discord across Creation
adding Chaos to it. If chaos itself really was anathema to creation
itself, could even Ayar have done this?
I do grant You the point that I have little idea what Chaos is in
Achaea. I am but a Novice in my Guild and thus not yet privy to the
knowledge accumulated over the centuries by my guild. Also I am bound by
the Occultist Oath not to share such knowledge, if I had such beyond my
postings here, with all and yonder. As the Church is an old and
venerable institution itself, I would be delighted if the Archprelate
would show me her sources pertaining to Chaos and its workings in
Achaea.
However, such sources are rare and hard to find. The honoured
Archprelate's warcry is 'I would rather light a candle than curse the
darkness.' The Occultists can remember a time when the church lit
morethan candles. A time when it lit torches and bonfires and stakes on
which to burn books, knowledge and scholars alike. A Time of Burning.
My final words directly to the honoured Archprelate therefore are: One
day when You light that candle, You will see me there, as I strive to
once become The Scholar in The Darkness, gathering the knowledge driven
into shadows, darkness and oblivion by the flames and torches of the
church.
If the honoured Archprelate wants to answer, please do so in the
openness of a public post. You can also choose to adress me directly. As
soon as the scribe has posted this, I will be on a pilgrimage toShallam,
to the Chrysalis Basilica, where I will spend three days praying to the
Divine Patron of the Occultists, Eris.

My name is Eloi. I am a Novice in the Occultists.
