I don't profess to know the nature of love. From whence it stems, or
where it leads. I don't profess to understand much of it at all. I've
found little of it in my life. But enough to know I value it above all
else when I have found it.
Love in any form is a powerful motivator. Sometimes down a path mistaken
in the heat of passion. Often it leads to bonds that will cause one to
forsake anything else. But I've never fathomed how love can be wrong.
Once I was a member of an organization that valued love greatly. Enemies
were forgiven. Loyalty in every action was less important than a love of
one's path. Faith was placed in a person's love, and love was extended
to all who would accept it. Acts of compassion and aid were commonplace.
No one would ever be rejected for loving another.
Those that once championed Love, dedicated themselves to it, seem to
have lost their way. Forgotten their love of Sapience's beings and the
knowledge that their Love was their most powerful weapon. I'm deeply
saddened and troubled by that.

PS On a similar note, those who express hatred through slurs against
another's choice of lover will be slain. If you cannot understand what I
mean, I won't be explaining myself.
Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Mayan, in the year 304 AF.
