Perhaps this should be addressed to those in the Church and its allies
who stand silent against its injustices. It is a creed for you.


First the Church came for the chaos cabals, and I didn't speak up,
because I wasn't a cabalist.

Then the Church came for the the cabals' friends, and I didn't speak up,
because I knew no cabalists.

Then the Church came for our own members who dared advocate free will,
and I didn't speak up, because I am a loyal servent.

Then the Church came for me, and by that time there was no one left to
speak up for me.


I recommend those within the Church and its allies who tire of these
travesties of justice not lose the will to speak out against your
"leadership" in the face of this oppression from its own despots.
Standing silent and submitting to your autocrats will lead you nowhere.
But win or lose, those who oppose oppression and bigotry shall always be
welcomed with open loving arms to Ashtan, city of compassionate
tolerance for all walks of life who do not act to destroy her. Let
Ashtan, currently called home by people who study the arts of the
Priests, Druids, Sentinels, Runewardens, Monks, and many others, be the
haven for the tired, the poor, the huddled masses yearning to breathe
free while the Church and its city fester with hatred.
