My 100th Anniversary

I would like to thank all of those who came to my monumental
100th year Anniversary as an Achaean, for a great party and
some fantastic presents. It's not everyday you get to kill
yourself with alcohol in the company of good friends.

I would also like to thank those of you who couldn't make it
but who send their best wishes for a happy birthday.

And while I'm thanking people, I will like to thank all of those
who have made my 100 years as an Achaean special and interesting,
for better or for worse, I love you all and hope you will have
as good a time in these realms as I have had.

One hundred and eighteen years, that's a long time to live, but I
still feel as young as the day I stood outside the gates of Ashtan
confused as what to do in this new and wonderous world (even if my
back does creak a bit more when I get up in the morning).

I have done a lot of different things in my life - I have been through
the whole spectrum of mortal alignment and temperament - but even
though I today have found my home in a good and lawful guild - I will
still remember with fondness the guilds I have been a member of in
the past. I have never left a guild in anger, only because I had
changed enough not to fit those guilds anymore.

I would like to thank the occultists, the druids, and the sorcerers
for many good years of friendship and camaraderie.
And of course I'd like to thank the magi, who has made me feel at home
faster than I could ever had dreamed of.

And finally I would like to give thanks to the Lady Lorielan and the
Logos
for a great and interesting world filled with exciting things to learn.
When I wake up every morning with a mission, it is all thanks to you.

Stay well Achaea, for at least as long as I have, and may you all gain
new insights before you go to sleep tonight.
