Once again, revisionist history in action

I think it is safe to assume that you were referring to me,
when I placed a herb ban on your city due to incidents
involving my guild. It might wise for you to peruse back
through this section yourself, looking at the news
involving that incident. I didn't come onto this board firing
complaints..I took action, and you and yours complained, at

which point I responded.

Furthermore, there is a huge difference in the situations
involved. The folks who were victims in the incidents
involving my guild were indeed Innocents..they did not
have a history of personal philosophical difference
with Ashtan, or a history of making war on the city,
or a history of stealing orphans from the city..they
were there just to visit, having done nothing to
bring anyone's wrath down upon them personally..nor
did they open any chests, causing a whole city to
hate them due to their actions.

The city of Shallam is opposed by Necromancers..in principles,
in philosophy, and often in actions. Even so, young
necromancers aren't hounded out of the city or robbed
and killed when they walk through the Gates of the
Jewel of the East. When your own city can say as
much, when it holds to standards that put it on
a moral footing that is higher than any other city, then
you might be able to declare "foul!" and cry about
hypocrisy..but as long as its okay to kill and steal
from individuals in Ashtan who have never done
ANYTHING to oppose the interests of Ashtan, you are
hip deep in hypocrisy yourself complaining about the
treatment of folks who actively DO oppose Shallam
yet come to the city.

By the way, is this the same Xanithe who was gleefully
using adduction to pull youths out of Minia, so
a Jester friend could give them balloons, and the two of
them could laugh when they fell to their deaths?

And lastly..hmm..hasn't Ashtan officially kept
itself in a state of war with Shallam? Hashan and
Shallam were at war..and however distasteful the resolution
of that war might have been, it was resolved..yet Ashtan
has not wished to change its war status, preferring to
go to a "cold war". Is it any wonder your leaders aren't
welcome in Shallam, even if they aren't officially enemied?

As a last hypothetical thought for you..if indeed
Shallam started hounding young occultists, within their
city, as easy prey and folks who werent covered by
the law...do you think Shallam would scream and whine
on this board when you told the Occultists to
stop using Tarot in Shallam? Do you think they would
put all the blame they could on the Occultists for being
targets? Do you think Shallam citizens, inspired by
the rhetoric and propaganda, would go steal and
kill young Occultists out minding their own business?
If you do, then maybe you should dump that extra
pipe that contains cactus weed in it. Shallam may not
be perfect, as it is only composed of mortals that is
not surprising..yet the city still holds itself
to higher standards than any other in the land,
and constantly strives towards its ideals, even at cost
to its own citizens.
