I'm not usually fond of the inane posturing, aggrandizing, and
foolishness that plagues this newsboard, but yours always takes the
cake. Ah this, dearest that, lovely this, blah blah. What are we, at a
tea party? Care for some lovely crumpets my dear?
Your irritating, smug oratory habits aside. I believe the point
Silverstorm brings up about the Shallam constitution is rather
interesting considering one of your city's Viziers not so long ago was
complaining loudly on this selfsame newsboard about Ashtan's laws not
protecting non-citizens - and it turns out, neither does Shallam! I
don't care, really. I'm used to hypocrisy, I'm sure I'm not immune to it
personally. But you missed that point completely I believe.
As for your comment about how when one enters a landmark room they are a
target. You conveniently have always interpreted this to mean that once
you have ever seen someone at a landmark room, you are free to attack
them anytime you see them for the rest of their life no matter where
they are. Personally, I've been attacked by you at Epicurus's Garden in
Ashtan, at Tasur'ke, and many other places long before I ever learned to
fight, was in the Mark, or had a single skill that was Transed, all
because you had seen me landmarking. Many other people will attest to
this habit of yours. No, I am not whining or complaining. I understand
that when I enter the fray, I am liable to die. I'm just sickened that
someone like you who has hundreds of times ignored divine decree where
it relates to landmarking PK would attempt to quote that selfsame decree
to your own defense.
As for Xanithe Devi, my son. I applaud him for his bravery in trying to
defend Silverstorm, for which you killed then enemied him *laugh*. It
takes balls and heart for someone who's about 0% your might to attempt
that, and I love him for it. And yes, your relentless thuggery did drive
my son to suicide. His soul, upon meditation, returned to this world in
a new body, mainly (so he tells me) for my sake. It's a funny world. A
so-called Priestess drives a young man to suicide and love for his
mother, an Occultist, brings him back.
I don't write to manipulate. I don't write to gloat. I don't write to
threaten. I write because you make me sick.
Shakti Devi.
