What Was, what Is, and what yet may Be.

I could echo an old post by Sinister which amounted, in short,
to "Hrm?". I'll spare you such easy agressive thoughts, because
I have an internal desire to know what sort of strange untold
sphere you are coming from.
I wonder... Are you even Human? Have you experianced the
nature of being Human from the moment of your initiation on
Loom Island?
I'll give one free Guess who has. In all My years I'll still
a Human, with all that Eris has granted me.
You see, a part of it is my recognition that Eris contains
within herself a part of that which created humanity.
When you brow beat The Church as you have, you make them
all defensive. That is not going to provoke any beneficial
results.
Maybe to you. Maybe to them. Leaves the rest of us, those
of us still more or less sitting on the proverbial fence
out in the cold.
I'm old enough that I now what Essence means to you.
I aused to be a paladin. I know what devotion means to
the Church.
I fought in the Shrine wars, before they are what they
are now.
I left the Church, I left the Paladins because they
did not follow the Codex before it came into being.
Had things been different, back when Mical was still
Sultan, my Path might have tread a different road.
All I see now is a bunch of people complaining because
they do not all agree on the same thing.
Welcome to the glory that is life!
From the moment you wake, to moment you make that last
trip to Sarapis's cave, it is the same.
It is all about choices.
Sarapis grants us the right to have those choices.
Eris reminds us we have those choices.
Pentharian gives us something, in all honesty, I'm
still dealing with that in light of the Paladin
thing.
Caspian gives us a few moments to remember why we
still keep coming back when everything else seems
dark and dismal.
Twilight gives us something to keep us on our toes.
Lorielan gives us a memory of what what was, as
only a Goddess of knowledge can.
Daedelus (pardon the spelling, I'm dictating
to a Woody, my constant spiritual friend and
companion) gives us a chance to remember that we
all can strive for a balance between those stated
and after.
Penned by my hand on the 10th of Aeguary, in the year 302 AF.
