Though I would like to say that I sympathize with the plight that you
now find yourself in, I for one cannot. You see, as you yourself
admitted in your post, you chose to do. You chose your guild, you chose
to serve Lord Sartan, and you chose when to follow orders and when not
to follow orders. If I recall during my time in your Lord's order, He
himself did state that the road to meeting his demand of defiling
shrines would not be an easy one, that you would be challenged and quite
possibly hunted.

You can try to play the martyr all you like, but those of us who are
aware of what has been happening in the realms know that this is so far
from the truth that it is laughable to the extreme. I've not known the
bully who beats up the smaller children only to steal their lunch money
to ever be able to claim that they were truly the one wronged, so really
dear boy, you do need to find a much better argument.

One thing I am hoping you can explain to myself, and any others in the
realms who might wish to know, is what truly is the stance of your
guild? It is widely know that you and yours have been plotting to war
with Ashtan, and yet, for a guild you claim is so powerful, you once
again show your lack of testicular fortitude by plotting in what you
believe to be secret, only to have your plans made public, and then can
not muster the courage to back up your plans? Are you at war with Ashtan
or no? Or is it that you now find that youroh so powerful guild will be
warring on many fronts due to your dedication to...how did you put
it....oh yes..."the only God that any roamer of Sapience is really
worthy of following"? Tis a simple question, though I doubt we will ever
hear the answer.
