Many of you probably don't know me, but if you do, it is evident that I
am an Occultist, and proud of it. Llewellyn, This has no bearing on you
being my father. But I would like this statement to be public

I thank you for your explanation on the Tarot Secrecy Status. You are
correct in the fact that it does require a larger amount of
understanding than the look and effect of cards, but the love that each
of us artists puts into the creation of such works. I would like to add
however, that just by knowing what it does is still useless. The real
usefullness that comes in knowledge is the application of such an
ability. If you are not a devote user of the Tarot following then you
have not experienced nearly enough circumstances to understand fully how
some of these cards are useful. And knowing the effect of a card gives
VERY VERY little use to protecting yourself against it.
The only true way to be knowledgable about the Tarot following is to
understand how to use it properly, not just what it does. So I challenge
all those (Dresden) who think they know what they talk about when they
announce our skills. I challenge you to not make yourself look like the
fools (sorry Jesters, nothing personal) that you so anxiously stood up
to protect.

to your hear.
