Hashan enemied folks for just being part of Shallam leadership, and
is keeping those folks enemied till Hashan citizens who attacked
within Shallam are unenemied. While a misguided individual did
indeed enemy Hashan leadership for no reason other than the war
early in the situation, that situation was rectified and that person
relieved of the authority and responsibility to do such reckless
things. So its very simply a matter of Hashan wanting folks
who actively broke Shallam law unenemied, in return for unenemying
folks who NEVER broke Hashan law. Grimsblade is referring to keeping
folks enemied who have ATTACKED within the city of Shallam..that is
indeed
protection of Shallam's citizens. Shallam has done the right and proper
thing in unenemying folks who never broke her laws, even while an
active state of war existed..ask Calla and Shub if they were
unenemied, and you will see..yet Hashan insists, even now that the
war, the supposed reason that members of Shallam's government was
enemied, is now over, that those folks will remain enemied till people
who BROKE Shallam law are unenemied, without paying their fines.

Its a nice patriotic supportive gesture, to insist that you will keep
folks who never harmed you enemies while those who actively
participated in the war, breaking local laws in the process, not have
to be responsible for doing it..but that's all it is. As one
of the enemied members of the government here, who never
attacked or invaded Hashan during this war, I find it very amusing
that folks in Hashan leadership were upset and made certain to
get unenemied from Shallam when they were wrongfully enemied, but
want it to be a one way street and keep members of our government
enemied.

Hypocrisy? Selfishness? A need to support the folks who
actually risked life and limb persecuting the war? I have no idea
why your leaders are making this stance, but personally I would rather
stay enemied from Hashan than see Shallam leadership bow down to a
attempt to have another sovereign city decide under what conditions we
will unenemy folks who attack within our city.

And just to make sure you have the history down right..I wasn't a member
of the government during the firestorm, or even once the actual war
was declared. I replaced Dresden as Vizier, an action that I think the
majority of Hashan WANTED done?? By doing this, and trying to improve
the situation, I end up enemied from a city..very nice thank you for
realizing things were done wrongly and trying to get involved in
changing them.
