I'm addressing this letter to Aldair, Qwilleran, and a couple of other
of Shallamites leadership that continue to bang a drum that is almost as
tired and worn out as my posting here. Which of course is to call me a
liar. I would like to take this time to shine a little light on the
subject. First off, the first shouts of "Liar!" came when I said Dresden
had manipulated her authority in trying to avoid a trial. Later proven
correct. I'll admit the Sinafey breaking the oath bit did not come true.
Though I did send a message to her explaining how the situation arose.
Later I said that Ryvern was stonewalling negotiations with Hashan.
Again, later proven true. Almost all of my accussations against Shallam
have come true. And yet I am the liar? If you want to attack my beliefs
thats fine. Do so. If you want to attack me because the mental strain of
trying to debate a lost cause has finally caused you to snap, fine. But
please stop calling me a liar. The louder you scream liar at me, the
more you creep into the shadows. The Shallamite government has proven
time and time again that it witholds information from its citizens and
does not bargain with all its chips on the table. The burden of proof
lies with you. Not me. My track record is damn near angelic when its
compared to your own.
And as for Aldair saying that anytime after Dresden stepped aside as
Sultan, Hashan could have had its trial is ludicrous. One, if that was
the case why was it never brought up in any negotations...oh wait, could
be because you cut off negotiations during that time. And second and
most importantly, why would Ryvern, a co-conspirator of Dresden, ever
allow a trial to go forward? It could have just as easily been Dresden
selling him up the river in a trial under that scenerio instead of the
other way around. Please do stop rewriting history. Its getting as
boring as writing these posts. It wasn't until very recent history that
you admitted Dresden abused her power. And even then grudgingly. So
please don't try to play the victim with me.
And as for Qwilleran stating 99.9% of the people he talks to says I
should shut up. Sure if you are talking to Dresden, Aldair, Covenant,
Caled, Brinn, and those that associate with them. But if I'm that hated
in Hashan, how did I get elected 2 years before I was eligible to run
for office? And put in as Chancellor 5 years before I was eligible to be
in that position? Does it really irritate you that much to find out that
most of Hashan agrees with me? Actually, what will really irritate you
are the messages of support from Shallam I get.
How did I get elected to Regent? I know thats a question on your minds
of late. I'll clue you in. YOU got me elected regent. Had Dresden let
Charlotte stand trial way those many years ago, or paid the fine, or
Darknight not pulled the stunt he pulled, or any of the other hundreds
of oppurtunities YOU have had to end this thing, I'd be a nobody that
would be lucky to be a guild secretary now. But you keep refusing to
garner any responsibility. Even Grimsblade message to the victims came
off as a "Whoops, sorry about that" rather than a sincere apology. You
want me to shut up? Its a rather easy thing to accomplish. Stand up,
take responsibility for the actions of your two previous governments,
apologize for the heinous crime committed against Hashan, ally those you
need to ally, and drop the damn subject. Trying to rewrite history to
make it look like you did nothing wrong will only cause further posts
from not only myself, but others in Hashan who are just as fed up with
this utter and complete line of BS as I am.
