Herb Ban

I have heard the details of the ban and it's utter insanity. When the
druids learn the reason and if they want to join in the madness, then it
is thier perogative. It did happen last time but mainly because after
the last Sentinel Herb Ban, members from Sartan's Order started
exterminating Forests and I can understand the Druids reasons for
joining into it. Unless the Druids join in this current ban and refuse
to sell to Ashtanites then we can buy from Druids willing to sell. At
least I believe that would be so unless you are going to be the same
dictator that Covenant is and tell your guild what they can do with
thier own herbs that they harvest. But even if the Druids do join this
ban as well we still have Rogues. And incidentally, I still found plenty
of Druid Guild Member's to sell me herbs. However I want to point out
that I wasn't trying to speak for the entire Guild of Druids. You may
only consider people in your guild to be Druids but to me if one is of
Druid class, holding Concoctions, Metamorphosis and Groves, then they
are a Druid, whether they are in a guild or not. My wife is not in your
guild, but she is still a Druid. But I can honestly say from the last
Sentinel Herb ban, that not a lot of people in Ashtan were hurting
herbs, though the Sentinels may wish to give themselves too much undue
credit and think they were actually putting a dent into our lively hood.
You truely almost try to make it sound like Herbs are free as far as not
getting rich off them. As I stated my wife is a druid and we reap a
fortune in what we sell in Kola alone. But what you charge for herbs is
your own business I suppose. But considering you sell herbs, and you pay
nothing to harvest them, I would venture to say that you do indeed make
a profit off them, yes?

As far as citizens go, yes we still have, as you put it, OUR rogues. And
unless Seasone can be convinced to join in the ban as far as refills go,
I don't see us having too much of a problem refilling our health vials.
So I while I am not saying that no one will be affected by the ban, the
ban in itself will be largely ineffective as a whole as for what it's
trying to accomplish. The Sentinels can ban us. The Druid Guild can ban
us. Ashtan Citizens will still get herbs and they will still get refills
as long as there are Rogues and Guild members not shy to make some quick
gold as long as it is kept hush hush to thier guild.

My whole reason for my last post was not so much to convince people who
are banned to not buy herbs from those who have banned them as it was to
point out the lucridity of it all. I did leave one thing out, that I
will add now.

To all Ashtan Citizens that are banned by the Sentinel Herb Ban who did
not steal anything from the Sentinels, which should be about every
single citizen in Ashtan with the exception of 1 person, and do not care
for being punished in such a way for something you did not do, then I
encourage you all to go out and rob as many Sentinels as you can blind
so at least then you will deserve the punishment placed upon you. If you
are going to do the time, you may as well do the crime since the
Sentinel GM in his ultimate wisdom decided to make you all your brothers
keepers.

Oh one last thing on the protection issue. I suggested because our
rogues did indeed ask the city of Ashtan to protect them while they
harvest because Sentinels started taking a mind to hunting them for
Harvesting herbs they were only going to turn around and sell to Ashtan.
My wife was amoung one of those and she even begged me to kill her once
so she could harvest graced while she was constantly harrassed by
Sentinels the entire time she was doing it. So it does happen. It did
happen and that is why I mentioned it.
