Sentinel Herb Ban

I don't often post publicly, but the number of misleading statements in
your post demanded a response.

I'm not going to speak to why the Sentinels have introduced an herb ban,
because I have not yet heard all the details, and they are perfectly
capable of responding to that themselves, but considering the number of
Ashtanites crying to me, alone, lately for health refills, which I have
stopped doing due to the valerian shortage, I don't believe you can
truly expect anyone to believe you'll be totally unaffected by this ban.

Secondly, it remains to be seen whether the Druids will join this ban.
So you will not refer to YOUR Druids, as the Druids have no official
relations with Ashtan whatsoever. You have no Druids, you have rogues.
If you are holding some Druids of your very own in your city, they would
probably like to go home to their forest now.

Thirdly, no Druids got rich off the last Sentinel ban, as most joined it
of their own free will, even though it was not imposed as guild policy.
And I doubt there are any Sentinels hurting from your boycott, either.
So if you don't want to buy from them, and they don't want to sell to
you, why are you wasting space on the public boards about this?

Fourthly, and most importantly, I have NEVER been attacked by a Sentinel
while harvesting, nor has anyone in my guild. The only people,
interestingly, that have ever attacked me while harvesting, were Ashtan
citizens. In fact, I have been protected by Sentinels from Ashtan
citizens while harvesting. So I don't know where you are getting your
information, but we don't want your "protection" nor do we need it,
except from yourselves.

Fifthly, as an afterthought... if you think any Druid or Sentinel who
truly loves the forest (which I would hope is all of them) gives a
rat's....derriere...how much gold they make off concoctions, you are
sadly mistaken. We don't treat the gifts of the forest as a way to earn
gold. It is merely a way to survive. Survive what? Attacks by Ashtanites
mainly, oh wait, we're back to that again. Yes we charge gold for
refills, because harvesting is dead boring and takes a lot of time, and
also, personally, I charge because I get annoyed with constant tells
asking for refills, so I figure the more I charge the less I get asked.

Setting the record straight, I hope....
