Though I may have been fairly silent, as I do not often feel the need to
clutter the public boards with incessant finger pointing, I did gain a
need to reply to your post.

Throughout the past 10 years, there has been one comment which I have
always argued. One statement which many may call me a liar for. I was
even charged with perjury in my own city for it. That does not, however,
change the truth.

The Council of Viziers of the City of Light did not ever vote to open
any of the chests inscribed with the warnings.

Yes, the incident happened. Yes, it was due to a Shallamese. No, it was
not a vote.

You may call me one who shall lie. The entirity of Sapience may do that.
However, I am not one to worry what others may think of me. I will swear
by Pentharian's name, and even Lady Lorielan's, that no vote was ever
made, nor cast.
