Shakti, how deftly you maneuvered around the real issue that
brought me to post... As you said yourself, I am seen in the
lands very rarely, and yet I find myself enemied to the city I
once called home.
You say the Infernals tried to dictate Ashtan law, this is not
so, we have only demanded the city to recognize our right to do
whatever we want inside our guildhall. We want to be able to
practice our religion behind our own doors without having to worry
about killing a citizen who comes to threaten that right.
Now, with no explanation ever given, I find the entire leadership
of the Infernals enemied. You say that our condition of withdrawing
support were exxagerated, yet I find the actions of the current
government of Ashtan to be extreme and overtly-hostile.
A word of warning to the citizens of Ashtan: How free are you if your
leaders can displace an entire faction of the city simply because they
are at odds with the current political environment?
My answer is, not very free at all.
