To change the world, one would need a massive amount of resources.
Dresden, if you want to change the world, sell your artifacts. I'm sure
that you could find people willing to completely loot to bank accounts
of say Ashtan or the Order of Evil in exchange for your high-tech
weapons. With these millions upon millions of gold you could easily
repay any reparations that Hashan wanted for the destruction of their
city, let all of the orphans in Shallam live like kings, fortify the
villages you used to 'protect' completely against all aggression and
build a benevolent empire unseen since the times of Nicator. I'm sure
that would be possible with the combined resources of nearly the entire
world that you could get, obtaining all the funds of one major
institution that you deem 'evil' per artifact and you have so MANY
artifacts.
Of course, we all know that you won't do this. As soon as you've writhed
free of the bindings the gods placed on you for your actions, you'll
return to trying to destroy everything which breathes and lots of things
which don't because they won't do as you say. Watching you smirk as you
shatter the limbs of people fresh out of their novicehood and then claim
how righteous you are is as always a triumph for evil. Dresden, I salute
you.
P.S. I spit when I wrote that last line.
P.S.S. Before some little priest makes a post back to me about how I'm
just mad because I can't kill Dresden, starting it off with 'angel seek'
in a mad scramble to gain guildfavours so that they can quit the Church
and end up excommunicated, the current score for Dresden and I fighting
is Zero- 3 Uberbitch- 0. Watching her smirk a second before she gets her
head knocked off never fails to amuse me.
