Sapience.
I find it slightly humorus, how good freinds, can become enemies, and
enemies can become good freinds.
I can remember a time, when i was a middle aged Shadowsnake, lying my
life down on the line because Silverlock, Radagast, Calhoun, Cathor,
Xandor, and a host of other Shallamese were attacking ashtan, and
someone sent a tell to me, asking why i persisted, even though i die,
every time they attack, why i persisted in fighting.
Its simple, i fight because i believe in what Ashtan, Sartan and the
Citizens stand for. I believe that no matter how many times i die, how
many times my head is piked in your Basilica/crater my ideals will
persevere.
Aye i've killed many of you, and many of you have killed me, its a
vicious cycle we all live in, survival of the fittest? no, more like
survival of the smartest.
Admittingly i am not the smartest warrior in the world, nor am it the
strongest... However i recognice hypocrocy when i see it.
Take the Holy Codex for example.
Once i was a priest, a loong time ago, i red the codex, and was
interviewed, and one of the questions in the interview, was.
"If you see your mortal enemy lying on the side of the road bleedng,
dying from an attack, what would you do?"
Many of my fellow bretheren answered the same way, hoping to gain
acceptance in the eyes of the interviewer,
"why i would heal them, for in healing him i touch some small part of
his soul, and mayhaps he will turn to the light."
yet day after day i see more kills from shallamese than ashtan, i
realise that the tables have been turned, and honestly i care not about
the wars between hashan and shallam, i dont need an excuse to commit
warfare, shallam and ashtan have been going at it for centuries.
what i am saying is this
quit your pathetic bickering on who should have what, and where and why,
either fight it out, or leave it be, my god, you waste more time
bickering than resolving anything else.
you all know i am pr agressive, i'm a fighter, its my nature to kill,
and yes i've killed unjustly, i appologise for that, sincearly, but
times are changing, i must adapt in order to survive, so be it, but my
blades will not rest with no blood on them...
Good night Achaea, hopefully you will set the words aside, and realise
its all talk, let it be, or fight it out
