Since the recent waking up of our grand Lady Eris, many things chaotic
have come to pass. In the past, I've made posts stating the many upsides
to accepting the ideals of Chaos into your life, and I'm going to do it
again now, because Chaos is rising again, and its good for you all to be
a bit more confused about it. (Just to clarify, all opinions or ideas
expressed in this post should be considered mortal opinions or ideas,
and thus are not intended to be set in stone, and I do not mean for
anything I may state to offend anyone.)
Let's talk about confusion. Its an underestimated thing. Confusion is
the mother of understanding. Everyone is confused before they understand
anything, thus making confusion the natural state of being. If this is
our natural state, we should embrace confusion and accept it as natural
and good. (And I don't mean "good" as in the Church sense, I mean good
as in likable and appropriate.) Now matter how much you understand,
you'll always have more questions. Every thing that you understand will
lead to at least one more question, causing more confusion. Confusion is
an unending circle, and we should be proud to be encircled by it.
Someone intelligent once said "Chaos is the root of all confusion." If
this is true, then we most certainly should embrace Chaos, for Chaos
breeds the very thing that encircles us all the time, confusion. If
Chaos breeds the natural state of us mortals, then clearly Chaos itself
is our natural state. Chaos is like a mother to all of us. It is easy to
say you deny being chaotic or deny being connected to Chaos, but you are
denying that which is your natural state.
And what IS Chaos? I don't have the power to truly explain that, as a
mortal. I've tried many times, but I can only scratch at an outer
surface. I can say to you that Chaos is all consuming, and it is
everything that surrounds you and everything that you are, but perhaps I
am wrong. I could say that Chaos is the force that creates thought and
motion and being but perhaps I just do not understand. I could tell you
that Chaos is everything and anything and nothing and nothing and
anything and everything is Chaos, but perhaps, it might be that I am
only confused.
But if that's true, and I'm confused, then I accept confusion and I
embrace it as myself and my state of being. I can only encourage others
to do the same, for choosing confusion and Chaos as your path is one of
excitement and enlightenment. It is a path that consists of forks and
turns, and allows you to be confused for yourself, rather than be
oppressed or live under someone elses views.
Next time you feel confused, give yourself a hug. You just took a nibble
out of the big apple of enlightenment.
