Shallam's Actions

There are several matters that concern me about your post Drakul. You
see, I must have been extremely confused, because I was under the
impression that Shallam was offered only one solution. As I posted, this
solution was unacceptable. If there are alternatives to abandoning
Dresden, I would certainly be willing to consider them. After your
repeated declaration that this was not a debatable issue, I must have
wrongly assumed that the issue was unresolvable. Shallam unwilling to
give up Dresden, and Hashan unwilling to accept anything else.
As for you seeking me out, you did indeed. We had several conversations,
a few of which you did initiate. I'm glad to see that I am not the only
one confused on this issue. I contacted you and opened this dialogue of
peace while Dresden was still Sultaness, and I certainly worked on that
dialogue until such a time as my apparent misunderstanding. I would be
more than glad to resume conversation with you, and my public thanks to
Acratin for his continuing pursuit of peace. He is a man to be admired.
Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Scarlatan, in the year 290 AF.
