I have already made my feelings concerning the content of your public
post #9023 known to both yourself and your esteemed Patron. To summarise
for others who were not privy to those words, I was both deeply offended
and justifiably upset that you would have the gall to bring such a
comparison to the realm; it was insensitive, offensive and no matter how
much you justified it, beyond the scope of the rp rules. It is my
sincere hope that the Divine decide that your post should be scrubbed
from the memory of all of us as soon as possible.
Now, having said that I will answer the accusation that you have
levelled against many of us. To summarise your incredibly verbose post;
you ask us to show understanding and compassion to one who you feel has
been unjustly bullied and who upon reaching her breaking point lashed
out at those she perceived to be the root of her suffering. You did this
by comparing her to heinous criminals whose actions are beyond the
understanding of any but the most twisted of minds.
If Dresden has been bullied there are mechanisms in place to address
this, why did she not use them?
If Dresden is unable or unwilling to have her very words questioned she
should not make them public.
If Dresden does not like the attention that being in a position of
responsibility brings she can step down.
However your smoke and mirrors are distracting us from the truth of the
matter. The actions of Charlotte brought about the death of many
innocents, her subsequent offer to throw herself upon the mercy of the
law of Hashan has not been fulfilled. In the following months the
position of Shallam was to deny Hashan its right to prosecute and seek
reparation for the crimes committed against it. When all avenues of
diplomacy had been exhausted the law of Hashan took the only possible
course of action left open to it. Dresdens actions from that point do
begain to resemble your 'story', she became a heinous criminal herself
and acted both unjustly and against the law. And you defend her!
Dresden is quite capable of defending herself, she will lose, but she
does not need you to muddy the waters with your distracting comments. If
she is unable or unwilling to do so in a public forum then she can have
no one but herself to blame for the situation
I will meet you on the battlefield, I have had enough of these words.
Hush!
