Dearest Mortals,
I write this to inform you that there are strong forces at work against
mortal kind. It was so obvious, you should have seen it all along, but
since you refuse to look at the obvious I'll inform you. There is no
"Other", Syvelium was 'dealt with' by his competition. For those of you
who didn't know, many a Priest and many a Paladin bought bowls from him
for a lower cost than Rurin sells. In fact, about a quarter of the cost.
Is it not obvious that Rurin is striking back at his competition?
I mean really, it's so obvious that any child can see it. Rurin has a
monolopy on many things, clothing, inks, empty vial, bowls (once again,
now that his competition is gone). To me it's obvious, a man as wealthy
as Rurin will do anything to maintain his position, including the
removal of any unwanted competition by whatever means necessary in his
eye.
I'm sure if you look a bit further, you'll see that it wouldn't be hard
for Rurin, hereafter known as Don Rurin, to control a large criminal
syndicate. Don Rurin has the financing to easily make anyone disappear
that he wants, and we all know that he lives near the Gates of the
Garden, so he is beyond any mere mortal's jurisdiciton. Merchant guild,
I encourage you all to watch out, you never know what Rurin may try to
monopolize next! You too could disappear much like Syvelium did, watch
your back and trust no one!
Regards,
