Charlotte,
I thank you for replying to my post, as feedback on the idea was what I
was looking for. This very issue which you propose was already mentioned
to me in a conversation I had with Santos and Shakti. At first glance,
it seems somewhat plausible. However, we must understand that in The
Beginning, there was no Proteus. Ayar existed as the sole Creator of
this Endpoint of the Source. The creation of Proteus was merely an
outward manifestation of Ayar Himself, somewhat like the Avatars of our
Deities today but on a much grander scale. At all times, Proteus, as all
other Gods, was subject to the will of Ayar. This is proven when Ayar
intentionally limits Proteus' power and tampers with His mind in order
to conceal His true origins.
Another matter I would like to address is the accusation that by
proposing knowledge above that of the Divine or challenging that which
we are told by our Divine Patrons we are being somehow blasphemous.
Frankly I find that rather hard to swallow. As Caled pointed out, is it
so wrong to go against the wishes of your Patron when you adamently
believe Their very well being may be at stake? This is a difficult time
for many walks of life, but as the Mortal Head of Aegis' Order, I find
nothing so important as protecting Him from any being that may attempt
to harm him. Finally, I'd like to ask a simple question to those who so
adamently deny that any matter such as this could ever have taken place.
Why? Why in the name of Sarapis our Creator would the Divine place
memories into our heads of one Syvellium, or that Phaestus was ever
trapped in His hammer? Furthermore, why would They then accuse us
blasphemers for believing the very memories They implanted into our
minds? Frankly I see no sense in the matter. Also, I believe for many of
the Gods, this issue has become somewhat of an insult to Them. Why then
do They not erase/replace the memories we have? Think on these things,
friends. I welcome any rebuttal.
