Remarks and Theoretical Musings
By Lord Cyre Elseth of Ashtan, The Grand Prophet of Aegis
1. Visitations to Past Writings
Let it be known that the remarks, theories, and musings found within
this document are derivetives of my personal reactions to various issues
of the past and present. Said remarks were then augmented by knowledge
gained through various written sources. Those remarks whose form was
then augmented are herein presented in a manner befitting my current
thought processes.

1.b.Discussions
Thanks go to those individuals with whom I spoke regarding the matters
included in this document. Thanks go to Mordyval, Shakti, Morlana,
Ximili, and Santos especially for their insightful commentary.
2. Forming Links
As proposed in past works (See "The Nature of Divinity", Section 3), the
"common root of all the Divine," is known as the Source. This Source is
"eternal, without beginning or end." Herein do I propose a change in the
theoretical framework of the supposed Divine Source. Rather than an
infinitely large entity, if it is an entity, it is my belief that this
Source is in fact triangular in nature. This is in accord with the
generally accepted Rule of Threes, which states that things in the
Multiverse tend to occur in threes. A three-pronged Source would
facilitate this force structure.
Another matter discussed in "The Nature of Divinity" is the law of the
Unity of Rings. Said law states that everything forms a logical circle
of some kind. However, in accordance with the general quantum
understanding, uncertainty is as much a part of the Multiverse as is
logic. Thus did I happen upon an idea. Suppose that the Unity of Rings
did not apply to any singular circle or rather to any number of singular
circles, but rather to three distinct and largely different circles, or
rings, if the visualization will help you. The consider that these three
rings ar configured in such a way that each is bound within the other.
Each ring represents a path of possibility. The characteristics of these
rings are affected by their surroundings, and lie in accordance with the
Source, as do all things. Therefore, at any point in time and space, the
characteristics of these rings will be different, based upon the
surrounding time and space fluctuations and their location within the
Source.
But what does all this mean? Well, consider the somewhat understood
properties of magnets. If a magnetic object is placed such that it is
spaced equally apart from three objects to which it is attracted, and
the three perimeter objects are of equal magnetic strength, the object
should remain in place. However, as the central object is moved closer
to any of the three perimeter object, the magnetic attraction becomes
stronger between the central object and the perimeter object to which it
is closest. The attraction is conversely weakened between the central
object and the perimeter object(s) from which it is being moved. This is
much the same with the three ring theory. At any point in the Source,
since we have now eliminated the Source's supposed infinite
characteristics, the point must be closer to at least one of the three
endpoints which constitute the triangular Source and farther away from
at least one of the other endpoints. The characteristics of the three
rings which constitute three ring unity are then affected by the
strength of their corresponding endpoints in the Source.
3. Of Endpoints and OverGods
It is all well and good to believe that the possibility of any singular
event occuring in the fabric of space and time is affected by the
infinite number of characteristic combinations that the three rings of
unity theory can form. But what causes these fluctuations in ring
characteristics is another matter entirely. Past authors and
philosophers have spoke of supposed "OverGods", beings which do not fit
the conventional definitions of either Gods or Powers. These beings
have, in the past, been defined as "guardians and sentinels, supervisors
of Gods that watch upon the mortals and make sure that Gods never gain
complete control over us." It is my belief that while this definition
may suit conventional knowledge, it is attributed to the wrong entity.
In our realm, the OverGods we are familiar with are Aeyr and Daedalus,
with Sarapis as the "Ultimate OverGod" as it was once put. But in order
to comply with the Rule of Threes, it would seem that we are missing the
knowledge of two entities which parallel our Creator, Sarapis, the
Logos.
Going back to the principles proposed in Section 2, there are 3 sources
of force influence which constitute the Endpoints of the Source. It is
my belief that one such source is our Creator, Sarapis. Due to our
location within the Source, it seems that almost all event possibilities
are influenced directly by Sarapis, thus cancelling out the minute
forces affecting event possibility from the other two Endpoints. It is
for this reason that we have for so long been ignorant of the presence
of these other Creators. Just as our Lord Sarapis has such strong
influence over our minds and bodies in this realm, it is likely that the
realms of the other Creators also are ignorant of the other Endpoints.
4. The Creators and Their Influences
Perhaps it is mere coincidence, though I have my doubts about the
existence of coincidence also, that at the same time our realm has begun
noticing changes within the minds which constitute the Garden, myself
and several others have begun to suspect the possible existence of
beings whose powers and roles are in accordance with those of our Divine
Creator, Sarapis. However, for such to be a coincidence would be largely
unlikely. Perhaps also the collective memories of all of Sapience have
been altered to falsely recall one Syvelium of Shallam, though that too
seems to lack any coherent explanation.
However, if an Endpoint entity were to somehow seperate itself from its
own dimension of existence and cross over into that of another Endpoint,
what the consequences could be. Assuming that with the entity comes its
force, and thus its influence on probability, the likelihood that even
our most powerful being could somehow be manipulated suddenly becomes
far greater. Now, it is unfair to propose in what manner this has been
done, however, if it HAS, then our realm as a whole faces an intricate
problem which will prove to be very difficult to unravel. As every
characteristic of our realm exists in part through the influence of
Sarapis, the introduction of another force that could cause the
probability of characteristic transmutation within Sarapis' endpoint
could bring about catastrophic results.
5. Conclusions
The power necessary to manipulate a Creator is barely even measurable.
It is difficult to even find something with which to compare it.
However, believing that the energy contained within various points on
the Source is proportional to the distance from each Endpoint entity, it
is fathomable that merely by bringing itself closer to Sarapis, this
entity, or Other, as it has been popularly dubbed, has caused his power
to surge. As to the inverse, whether Sarapis' power grows with the
approach of the Other, is not currently understood.
And so we have Sarapis, the Logos, our Creator, this mysterious Other, a
being believed powerful enough to manipulate the memories of the Divine
themself, and a third as yet unmentioned entity occupying the final
Source Endpoint. Are these beings the ultimate manifestations of the
Source's power? Perhaps. Perhaps not. However, the theoretical logic
cannot be ignored.
