In 8646 Ximil wrote, "...revenge, a relatively Evil concept as it
does not go along with the motto of "Forgive and Forget".
Vengeance is not a concept that is against the teachings of
Righteousness.
Whilst I cannot and will not speak for the Holy Church, the motto
of "Forgive and Forget" is also not the 'motto' of Righteousness.
You seem enchanted with the notion that being righteous involves
turning the other cheek constantly and allowing much that is good
in this world to be trampled under foot, or as is your wont, totally
misrepresenting it (righteousness) with your fabrications and
propaganda.
Wrong. Vengeance is an integral, if somewhat minor part of the
teachings of Righteousness. If you had truly read the Codex, you
would have seen the entry from my late Lord Deucalion regarding
this. Vengeance does not need to be 'nasty' or 'evil', although
from what I have read of Lord Sartan's teachings it certainly
can be.
Lothair, in 8651 you speak of righteousness with the mouth of one
seeking only to twist events to suit his purpose. From the moment
you are branded an enemy of the City, you are no longer welcome
there. It matters not how long it takes for the order to propogate
out to each and every guard division. As Pericles guards the city
for long hours each day, it is likely he had not seen the order
branding you an enemy, when you entered the city. Hence his
allowing you to enter.
If a citizen then sees you, a known enemy of the city, wandering the
streets of their city, it is perfectly reasonable for them to remove
you. People are not branded enemies on a whimsy. No matter how much
you try and wriggle off the hook, the fact remains that you had already
broken the laws and the order had been given. Take Tarlin's advice,
and look elsewhere for an incident to use in your barely credible
propoganda.
-for Righteousness.
