Tarlin, I'm dissapointed. I expected a better response than that, your
ignorance surprises me. Let me pose a question to you: If your city log
stated that Dresden turned into an evil little demon, but when you saw
her, she was still a priestess, woould you believe your log? The same
thing happened to me. I was called an enemy but nothing more. I was free
to go into Shallam, seeing as how I was not shot up by arrows or had my
mind crushed by the telepaths. Even Pericles welcomed me into the city,
and I doubt your word counts for more than the Captain of the Guards. So
I was welcomed intil the following month, when I became an enemy. So you
see, not only did you kill me unrighteously, the Church is ignorant too.
Oh, I know you'll say that has nothing to do with it, but let me
explain.

The Church protects supposedly innocent people like Handel and Marhisa
from danger. The fact is, you assume they are innocent. Handel could be
a Sartanite in secret for all you know. _Anyone_ could have, and
probably does have, a checkered past. Yet knowing, or rather not knowing
this, you kill goblin miners in Azdun because they are Evil. Let me ask
you, how do you know they are Evil? Have you seen anyone of the miners
commit an Evil act? Do they attack you on sight? No, of course not, they
sit there and mine, yet you condemn them because you are told they are
Told they are Evil, even. Anyways, this makes you no better than those
you condemn, Tarlin. So at this moment, I would like to congratulate the
Church on a jopb well done over the past hundred years or so on
expanding the influence of Evil into every day life. Way to go!

As for my supposed Blackening...well if you call letting the Truth be
known as 'Blackening the Church' , then you are more hypocritical than
even I though.
