This is completly off the topic of recent communicae but I feel the time
has come for this common knowledge to be expressed literally.

It is amazing the level of stupidity that exists in Achaea today. For
the first time in a decade I sat down to a conversation with several
people and vented some frustration.

All around us are petty warlords that are rising up thinking they are
the top of the garbage stack (Although none come close to the former
rulers of this world Mausolus, Napoleon, Isildur, Peirce, Gabriel,
Dalamar, Gijan etc and so forth). Guilds are accepting as leaders those
that once scorned them and turned on them. Currently I count three
guilds with leaders that once tried to destroyed or very well destroyed
the guilds they now rule. This all from the frail and old mind of a
thrice scorned Paladin, a cast out of the Light, and shunned member of
every city he has belonged too.
What am I talking about you may ask .. lets see.
Currently two Shallam guilds and one Neutral guild are being run by
those who either metaphorically destroyed the guild or turned against
the guild they now control with a vengeance. How did they come to power
many may ask. Simple, the people who voted them in are illiterate. They
didnt take the time to learn their history. Forgivness is a virtue but I
am old and forgivness is never easy for one such as myself. Once bad
always bad, Aurora always disliked me for my unforgiving nature I am
sure.

Many of you may be wondering where I am going with this line of thought.
I may sound like a gibbering 68 year old man to most, and well I am but
lets look at it this way.

Look within your guild. Look for those that work for themselves. From my
'outside' observations, they are many. What causes the Archprelate of
the church to abandon the organisation he helped create? Whay causes a
guild to have more capable rogues than leaders? What causes Achaeas
greatest Guilds to crumble? What causes a God to shun those the immortal
should support?
People of Achaea, look within your hearts, those that truly are working
for a greater good / evil, stand up and be proud of what you are. For
you are the rare. The world is full of those who are socially moronic,
those who think terror will bring them respect, those that think
bullying will create power. Those are the stupid.
Sometimes I am amazed over the level of inneptitude of people. Violence
has caved the way for brute thuggery. Where ancient enemies have become
guildmasters and stupid lunatics have become leaders.

This is not a message to the few this a message to the many. For many
years I have been cast of organisation after organision. Always have I
done the common good of Auroras teachings and been beaten out by the
power hungry. Aurora is no more, much the pity as she was the last of
the truly unselfish good immortals.
Think Achaeans before you act, do not succumb to power and wealth.
Choose the path within your heart, be it evil (which shall never
succeed) or good, never selfishness. Do not allow those that are here to
help be torn down due to your own fear of failure. Do what is right, not
what is right for you.

The only wise words I have for a dieing Achaea is, your life is not your
own, no matter how powerful you become, a fall from grace is a long drop
indeed.Is best to be remembered as a somebody rather than a nobody.
