Honour, Wisdom, Service.

Loyalty is stupid, power is foolish, strength is pointless, honour is
a joke, faith is ridiculous, and passion is lacking meaning... When
you lack the understanding that with all of those virtues, comes a
degree of responsibility.
You've chosen your path in life, and it's difficult to alter. Truly,
I understand that. That does not mean your path is Right. If you wish
to place your loyalty in a Creation that loves nothing but Himself,
that is, of course, your choice. I fail to see the strength in that,
however.
A golden age, a time of peace and prosperity, is so close at hand, and
yet so far from your thoughts or cares. Endless fighting may indeed be
amusing, may satiate you in your need for a simple meaning in life, but
it's taking the coward's way out. No matter how much you dupe yourself
into believing that you can take comfort in your Evil, that you are
doing the right thing by following Sartan and His selfishness, that
loyalty, strength, power, or whatever random virtue you choose to pervert
on any given day is worth a damn by itself...
You are sadly mistaken.
It is our nature as mortals to seek out that which is greater than us,
and the simplest answer is seemingly to give up, on our individual
spiritual quests -- to follow the path that appears most pleasurable
or the one that requires the least thought. Maim, kill, destroy, rape,
plunder, and trick our collective conscience into thinking it's okay
to feel good about it.
The Church may not be filled with perfect individuals, but the Church
knows the truth. We all know the truth. There would be no need for
the Church, if you would quit trying to lie to yourself, when your
soul knows the difference between right and wrong. If you follow the
spirit of the commandments, that is far more important than following
the letter of the commandments.
