Molotov- Touch brain. Outb pride, eat pride. Look.
Drakul- As the second ranked combatatant and one of the highest ranking members of Aegis Order, I think I have a good understanding of what I have devoted my life to. The basic concepts behind war are not hard to understand. I find it quite amusing that as I write this post you yourself are behind grace, most likely given to you as part of our current campaign. At the same time, I can see why you would say what you've said as you may not understand your patron and so you logically assume that no one else understands theirs. My Order, Israfels and Molotovs are all very straightforward compared to yours and understanding the core concepts of war or righteousness is not at all hard.
Qwilleran- I think the main reason why your Church hasn't broken up is excommunication. I have spoken to many, many people who cite to me that fear of losing their powers is the only reason why they have not quit. And despite the harsh cost, people still do leave your organization in perhaps record numbers as compared to others for which the cost of leaving is much smaller.
As for hunting down people for being followers of evil... here is my view of Church militarism. Yes, once again referring to my early Paladin days, there were two types of Churchies. The nice ones who did nothing but talk (Molotov?) and the thugs who did the fighting (Gijan, Cooper, etc.). To fight a devil (and win) you have to be a devil. Apparently the Church many years ago understood this. Now, you grow angry with the unavoidable brutality of your best fighters and they leave you. For example, Cyre and Radagast. Sooner or later you people are going to have to draw a line and either accept fighters into your ranks or be continualy hunted and slaughtered without mercy. Just my thoughts on the matter.
Zero.
Penned by my hand on the 18th of Lupar, in the year 270 AF.
