Dear lost souls of Ashtan,

Oh, you poor poor lost souls of Ashtan. You are being dictated by the PCA,
people who have been blinded by thier own hate and hunger for power. You
are being forced into a war. One that you know will do no good. Yes, many
will die, but nothing will be accomplished. You all know that the Church
does not respond to threats or violence. The PCA will put your lives at risk
until they are finally bored with the killing. And you will let them. You
will let them disgrace the entire city of Ashtan and yourselves. You will do
it because you do not care. You tell yourselves, "No Templar will hunt me
down. No priest will stand before me and judge me. I have done nothing to
them." And you will be right. Most of us will not hunt you down or try and
judge you. Most of us will stay in Shallam and defend the city that we live
in. We will die time and time again because, like you, the PCA has dictated
our fate by pronouncing war with Shallam. I just pray that the disease of
greed and hate does not spread to you all.
