When I was but a young, small-bearded Dwarf Priest in Shallam all those years ago, I treated myself to a suit of splint mail. The price still completely cleaned me out, but it was only 5500 and I was glad of it.
Now I see that the price is hugely more than that, beyond the reach of most young apprentice Priests.
And as Soul Fanel says, if Rurin continues to sell at his standard prices, will the assembled non-might of the six who signed this so-called treaty force our longest-standing merchant out of business?
And before people start making derogatory comments about the comparative Dwarven lack of intelligence, I can just say that there are some Grooks out there whom Trolls seem to out-think.

I'm all for laws nd regulation; but when those regulations get excessively strictly, one has to do something about it.
