Ashtan

Written by: Lord Buckthorn, Ithmian Exhibitionist
Date: Monday, June 29th, 1998
Addressed to: Mausolus, the Dark Lich

Greetings Mausolus, I'm am writing this to simply clarify your city's position on Druids. Now, as you can imagine, many of us tend to the forests and would rather not lend allegiance to either of the two cities. As such, I am asking for
the freedom from my guild to walk amongst your citizens freely, and safely.

As a guild we remain neutral and distant from the shifting power balances between both guilds and cities. However if we are not welcome in Ashtan, then we will be drawn into this city conflict, something I do not think any one really wants.

I apologize for not speaking to yourself or Luthius or Damascas personally on such an issue, but I'm sure you understand. Thank you.

Lord Buckthorn, GuildMaster of the Druids.

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Chronos, in the year 194 AF.
