I cannot correct any of your perceptions as I myself can only theorise. The only one that can correct you is Sarapis himself.

One thing I have contemplated recently is the origin of Chaos. I see 4 possibilities:
1 - Chaos was once part of Ayar, released from him at some point
2 - Chaos was a side effect of the Creation
3 - Chaos is as old as Ayar and exists as a counterpart
4 - Ayar created Chaos to add variety to his Creation.

Keep seeking the origins of Chaos, for that information will aid you in uncovering its true nature. For if you know its true nature I believe that you will also have some power over it.
