Firstly Lodi .. two points - I think the blacksmith of Thera has replied quite adequately to anything you may try to say about the "occupation", For that is what it is a short "occupation" until Ashtan is driven out. Secondly the Church is _not_ the sister of Shallam. The Church is, for lack of a better metaphor, two arms of shallam. Shallam is the body and the arms are the priest and paladins, with magi, dawnstirders and sentaari acting as legs and torso, with the council being the head or the brain. So hope that clarifies that.

Mistral - How can you call a ceasefire with yourself. Because as long as your forces or "peacekeepers" are in Thera claiming it as your own how can you expect us to pack up bags and leave. That is done when Isildur or Pentharian says we do with regards to the church or Cyre and the Council of Viziers do with regards to Shallam (note pentharian here also).
