Two more Zero Ideas.

Every once in awhile I come here and tell everyone my ideas. Here we go again.

While flipping through old posts out of bordem I read one good quote from Khaseem- "I have spent many long hours with various tutors learning the art of survival, but have yet to learn how to start a fire". Of course, our beloved Khaseem was talking about burning the forest down.

The pros of letting anyone start a fire is that, well, it just makes sense it would be a survival skill, and perhaps it could go hand in hand with killing and roasting a wild animal to eat- a skill that I really think we should have here. The down side is, there would be no forests left if every pyromaniac could do it.

My proposed solution- let it be a skill in survival that can't be reached without credits, to prevent hordes of newbies from destroying the Ithmia. At the same time, forest defenses should be made so that a little geyser or maybe even a little rain cloud douses any fires made by forest enemies, as the forests are by then watching out for those bad people.
That way, those who aren't forest enemies can cook some food or make a nice little fire to sit by, and a skill to responsibly put it out before it gets out of control would probably be right before it. So, for example, start fire, spread fire, smother fire, etc.

My other idea just came, involving thugs. While ratting in Hashan just for the novelty of it, it seemed to me that the thugs in Hashan are weaker.

So here is my idea- perhaps there can be a certain ministry, the security one or another, which has to deal with in-city crime. When done well, the thugs in the sewers are very weak. If they are doing incredibly poorly, thugs might even roam the streets of a city, starting in back alleys and then spreading to other, "Nicer" areas as the city went more and more downhill. This could be a nice deterent to keep a city from spending all of it's gold on troops once that comes in, too

Lastly, I am so sick of ratting. Here I am in Hashan due to pure bordem- ooh, a different sludge covered sewer wall, I feel so special. I haven't come up with any more of my random ideas as to how we might be able to deal with this situation, but it really has to go.

Last, here is a nice little quote that might make you think, like my warcry.

Yeah, I know, I post too much. (That's not it)

So I own a notion, we escape, and fake content. We don't own emotion, we rent.
