Awakening

Greetings Acheaens

With the creation of Eris, Goddess of Chaos, and the resulting outpouring of chaos within this land, many denizens have been troubled and have sought solace from the gods of this realm.

One such individual, choose to awaken me, The Earthmother to watch over Sarapis's creation in these eventful times.

But to wrest a god from slumber is no easy task, and should be undertaken only in extreme circumstances, for it has dire consquences.

This druid seeking to awaken me, prayed fervently, expending a little of her life force each time she lifted her head in prayer and called out to me, till eventually, life ebbing away, a glimmer of divine awareness was revealed to her.

With renewed vigour she called out My name one last time, begging to be answered, her spirit surging with both happiness and sorrow, for her spirit was extinguished as her life force was expended to reach me.

I heard the feeble cry and wakened from my centuries-long slumber, into a world much changed.

Nature is my realm, from the fish swimming in oceans deep to the smallest leaf on the tallest tree. I know them all, i watch over nature and shall see that my relam is not endangered.

Gaia.

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Chronos, in the year 190 AF.
