Venoms

First off, I would like to agree wholeheartedly with my Cousin Mistral's post. There is a considerable amount of misinformation that is being passed from mouth to ear. First and foremost, the Serpent Lords, as I can recall, did never agree to anything formal, nor have we posted publicly thereto. Let it not be said that we will stand idly by while illegal venoms are traded, but the public has -not- heard our voice.
Now, to my friend Geniveve. You say, "Snakes are able to milk anywhere they want, they're just supposed to milk in designated areas". Really? It seems that (even though I am not a Snake, per se, and perhaps the Great Logos has made rules different for them.) every time that I attempt to milk outside of the area that is designated for my Guild, I am unable to find the equipment necessary for such a task. Perhaps education is the key here, young one.
Mr. Fetzer - Your point is well taken, and ideas very well met, kind sir. Nearly every Guild of Sapience provides, to an extent, one form or another of material item. Whether that is Venom, Herbs or Whips, they are all necessary parts of many people's lives. I applaud you for your insight, although my dear friend Urlotus did have some quite driving points herself. It is, sadly, a battle which will never end.
And finally, to the public, just FYI. In all of Sapience, only two places exist in which one may find the necessities for the milking of Venom. These two places are behind locked door, and are not accessable to most, without the guidance of another. As for the selling of Illegal venom? I can tell you that the Serpent Lords currently have a policy of instantaneous outguilding, and repeated hunting of anyone of our Guild who dares to raise the proverbial hand against us by selling our precious venoms. These two facts, you may cast in stone. As for anything else, unless it comes from an appointed Leader of the Serpent Lords, please do us all the favour of taking it with a grain of salt.
Penned by my hand on the 5th of Valnuary, in the year 246 AF.
