The Codex

Those are indeed fine Laws to live by. They show very clearly how
to live and lead a 'good life'. But I think Dalamar was asking a
larger question. If I am correct, he was asking what is 'Good'.
I, for one, have yet to see a defining statement as to what 'Good' is.
One could argue that 'Good' is following the 10 Laws outlined in the
Codex, but I am sure there are other 'good' ways to live. The question
of 'what Good is', is much broader. Having a defining statement on
this could very well clear up many misunderstandings between the
respective parties. You could very well say that 'Good' is solely
defined by the Codex and that to live a 'good' life is 'Good'. That
answer, while understandable, is not totally reasonable because you
use the word you are defining in the definition itself. I rest assured
that the Church, its Patron, and its emissaries are working day and
night, in their studious quarters, to dispel the shadow of ignorance
cast across the land.
