shrines are a right

Written by: Ekary Lucoster, the Sinistar

You ask me to respect the church for their religion? When they as a whole (small stragglers not included) start to act with piety or in the case of the paladins piety AND chivalry, then they will have won much respect in my eyes. As it is now, it is the strgglers who actually do their job correctly. You do not see me killing Echo for example, she does in fact have my respect for living the life of a priest. Someone like Caerid, who publicly states that he has no desire to be chivalrous, honourable, or knightly, brings a great ire up in me.
And if it is true, as you say, that the roads and fields, hills and deserts of the land do NOT belong to anyone, then you should be just as offended as we are that the church finds it necessary to dominate these areas with their influence. Yes, the Prelatorian Hiway, was built my the church in days of old, but it is not their property. I have even seen Gods debating this issue, and the final result was, that the road is truely public property, not that of the church.
-the Sinistar

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Phaestian, in the year 245 AF.
