Well...I don't know much about the specifics of Borknagar's case
but being the busybody I am, I'm going to stick my nose in and
defend him.

He is a deceitful man, of that there is no question. But who isn't?
Now as I see it his greatest mistake was flaunting it in the face
of two gods (if not more). The theft of the wealth may have been
a bad thing for the Shallam, but I think not. I think that it may
be benificial to Shallam. Let them question the loyalty of those
around them, and in the end either their ranks will be destroyed
by misstrust, or strengthened by the ordeal.
