I shall begin this post with a direct quote from the Scrolls of
Gaia, Herself:

Gaia, the Earthmother, is affectionately known for her pleasant, good
humored manner and the maternal care she showers on even the lowliest
creations of the Logos. She is the goddess of nature, and her realm
is that of the trees, the plants and the NUMEROUS CREATURES that
share this world.

My friends and Followers of the Earthmother, Gaia, the Goddess of
Nature, you are being deceived and misguided by the Light. Your
flock is laid waste while I see the supposed Protectors of Nature
not only allow but abet their destruction. How can such actions
be allowed to persist? How can you, as Guardians of the Forest and
ALL its inhabitants quietly look askance while the Fold of the Church
leads your tender to its untimely death? Whether you consider your
alignment to be Neutral, Good, or Evil each Shrine that appears in
these lands is built upon the slashed throats and broken spines of
animals. It is absolutely appalling that you would allow hundreds,
if not thousands, of your friends, and no less charges, to be led to
their demise. Every so called Protector of the Forest should hang
their head in shame. Every Guardian of Nature should slump down in
abject dejection for allowing this atrocity, this genocide, to go
unheeded. In fact, with the number of new Shrines materializing
across the continent, I would go so far as to say that the Wardens
of the Wilds are helping the Church erect these structures. You may
not be directly leading animals to the slaughter but not stopping
them from being sacrificed is tantamount, albeit indirectly, to
killing them yourself.
