Galdrion,
Just as you claim that our laws are perverted to the benefit of the followers of Darkness, you pervert your own words to make yourself look innocent.
On two occasions now I have had to pull the proverbial teeth just to get an answer from you as to what happened in a given situation. Perhaps you will find that I, as well as the other leaders and officials of Hashan, will be more apt to work -with- you if you would simply answer the questions as they are stated.
In this case I was given a message and carried thru on the action -EXACTLY- as it is stated within the laws of Hashan. If you are in doubt, then I would welcome you to see the fact that I was standing at the Crossroads reading the laws as I enacted your punishment. Then, -IMMEDIATELY- after finding that the situation was not as I had been told originally, I reversed part of your punishment and enacted one that is considerably more leaniant.
Furthermore, you say that you "suppose only two deaths of a Hashan citizen is not sufficient", the same point that you brought to me. I ask you two things - First, what does this have to do with the immediate crime that YOU commited? Secondly, why didn't you take two seconds to stop screaming about injustice to answer my question? I gave you ample time to tell me of the situation, but, as has been the case in previous times, you would rather post to the public about how unfairly you have been treated.
Let this be a warning to all who are residents of or visitors to the Crown of Ithmia - we will not, under ANY circumstance, bend the laws of Hashan for ANY party involved in a crime in our City or to a resident or law-abiding guest thereof. In my own experience, I have been, and will remain to be, just as swift to punish the highest ranking of the followers of Darkness (whomever they may be), or the highest ranking Serpent Lord if they break a law. No one is immune to the law. Plain and simple.
Galdrion, as for you, until you decide to speak to people as to the cases that happen instead of shouting about the injustice that has been laid upon you, I urge you not to waste the time of those within the Realm with one-sided views of how you think Hashan works.
Penned by my hand on the 24th of Phaestian, in the year 243 AF.
