My Questions

Written by: Elusive Dream

I understand your first point, as your definition of innocence as
being anyone who has never attacked another unprovoked. However I
find it very disturbing to my mind in two ways.

1. This would mean that every pixie and imp ever slain by a
youthful adventurer in this realm would be innocent. (The
reason I do not include rats is because they aren't sentient)
If you agree with this, by your judgement is the church just
in deciding which innocents should be protected and which should
be slaughtered by their initiates?

2. If my understanding is correct, then it doesn't matter what
cruel and inhuman things one does to another, whether mental
abuse or spiritual, so long as an overt physical attack is not
initiated.

Also I was hoping that you could help clairify what you mean
by unprovoked.

On your second point, I must aggree with you I have never seen an
citizen of Tasar'Ke attack another. But does this mean that should
I see a member of a city attack another member that they are all
violent in that city? Well it that does not hold true, would the
reverse also not hold true?

Also on your third point I am happy and relieved that you understand
that in many cases death is a stiff punishment.

And this next statement is directed to the others in Achaea.
An eye for an eye,
And a tooth for a tooth,
And pretty soon the whole world
will be blind and toothless.

-Dream

P.S. Mirimar, I ask that you please take into consideration that
I am not the most eloquent of authors when you read this note. And
that I truly do not mean insolence when I ask questions that seem
to go against your statements. I truly do not wish to make your
stance weaker. On the contrary, I feel that by asking you these
questions and recieving your answers you remove any doubts that
others might harbor in their minds.

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Phaestian, in the year 243 AF.
