Indulge a curious mind, will ya?
Is either side in this debate actually going to recognise and attempt to recognise its faults?
ok, done questioning, time to start talking
What we need is some sort of inter-guild code, agreed to by the majority, if not all of the land's guilds. There need to be some basic groundrules contained therein
Both sides claim to be more honourable than the other. However, with no common, agreed definition of the idea, how the hell can you claim to be "better" than someone else?
Also, I propose that those who do not wish to be involved in the war should be exempt from hostilities, and their wishes should be respected. Walking around in a perpetual state of grace is no fun.
I also do not really hold out much hope of any attention being paid to these ideas, because the hatred, and one-upmanship between the protaganists has reached, quite frankly, ridiculous proportions.
Very soon, too, I shall have a story to tell of my voyages on my brief spell of absence...
Verl

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Valnuary, in the year 243 AF.
